Tayshia Simonson 

​I studied at Utah Valley University and received an Associate of Science, with a specification in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children for the past ten years. For five of those years, I worked for a childcare center. I provided care for children ages 6 months to 12-years-old. I then worked at a non-profit preschool for two years, where I taught 3 to 5 years of age. For the past three years, I have owned my own preschool, where I have developed my own curriculum based on a Developmental appropriate curriculum. I have always enjoyed working with young children and preschool is what I love most. I enjoy helping children develop and grow. 

 

I have been happily married for seven years and I have three children. Some hobbies that I enjoy is dancing, singing, and reading. Mystery novels are my favorite. However, my favorite children's book author is Eric Carle. I also enjoy a good movie or TV show.
