We do have choice time and outside that is a form of play. However, it is purposeful and planned to encourage development and growth. All items set out to "play" with are set for a reason that goes with a development goal.
We also have a developed curriculum that we follow with a set schedul. Parts in the day we do have structured learning time. There is constent learning throughout the day.

Some children start to recognize site words and may possibly start to read. However, it is not developmentally appropriate for children to read in preschool. We \introduce phonics in preschool, which is a beginning step to reading. We want to encourage children to develpe a curiosity to read and learn that it is fun to read.

Your child will devlop and learn in these areas:
1. Language
2. Literacy
3. Social-emtional development
4. Basic fundamentals of math and science.
5. Fine and gross motor development.
The curriculum in our classes provides opprotunites to develop and learn in all of the areas above.
